:: Fly me to the moon ::

The 30 mins on the flyer seems so short coz we were too busy taking photos.. OKie the view was spectaculer and it was a good experience but if you ask me to pay and take the ride,I wouldn't.. Really.. But if free again like yesterday, I wouldn't mind.. Maybe we can go in the day time..

We got ready to meet Su and Bean...

Met them at Admiralty, stop by AMK to get the tixs and the off we went to SG Flyer.. Su as always was carrying 'Aqiil.. Lauging non stop...



From the carpark to the Flyer entrance, I feel like I'm in a space shuttle. And the mist and cool air reminds me of Genting...



I want to go Flyer.. Faster faster...

Okie, Ayie is a bit shy of heights... So you can imagine how he was initially inside the flyer.. Then I told him to let 'Aqiil hold the railing and look outside..




'Aqiil as per normal was excited... And tried to pull himself closer so he could look down...



Wah so nice lah... So many lights..



But Ayah is too shy.. 'Aqiil had to be pried from the railing.. Poor boy.. Lol.. I was laughing looking at Ayie's antics..



Haiz.. I just lek here and suck my thumb lah...

It was quite difficult to get a nice photo due to the blue light.. But after much fidgeting with the camera, I can say, this is quite a decent photo..

$18 bucks but well worth it for the memories we had with our boy..

We shared the capsule with four others but we were the noisy ones.. Lol..

After flying, we drove to East Coast for dinner.. Late late dinner... The had gong gong, pari bakar, kailan and Soup Kambing.. I had the last two only since Ididn't eat the first two.. But it was a nice time spent together..

To Su.. Thanks for the gift..



Now I have even more reason to drag my butt to the gym.. my forever expanding butt..

:: My 28th Bday and Dee's Wedding ::

First and foremost I would like to thank everybody who wishes me happy birthday. Some did it before midnight because they want to be the first.. There is also some last kopeks ones... But no matter when you wish, it all meant a lot to me because I am remebered... Thanks so much..

Then next, I would like to thank Dee. Despite being busy with her wedding which falls on my birthday, she took the trouble to get me a present... In the midst of her wedding, she sms me to see Fai and get my present.. Thanks Dee..



There's the bracelet from Kenji.. Bling bling.. Even Ayie likes it.. It was very nice of you and congrats on your wedding.. I love the dias..




But you were also nice.. You were a picture of calmess and serenity.. Kekeke... And Zamir.. Okie he was such relax groom lah.. Cool jer.. And Zamir's childhood friend turn out to be Ayie's riding partner... When I am not around, Farizal is Ayie's second half..

The best part about wedding is that I meet my old friends..



There Anum, Taufik her fiance, Azlan, Fahmei, Me, Ayie and sleeping 'Aqiil with the bride and groom. This is like dejavu.. We were on this stage two years ago.. But that time, it was Ghafur and Nur wedding..

And the wedding favours is unique too, Yakun Kaya inside a bucket..

After the wedding we head for Causeway Point.. We were supposed to have steak and then ice cream but since Ayie ate so much, I decide against it.. We shall just have ice cream..

We walk at The green to look for furnitures and then head to Swenson's for the Ice cream

There won't be any cake this year... Cannot lah three years in a row eat Swensons cake..



So I got the Firehouse Happy birthday sundae... I blew one candle.. So does that make me One year old.. Yeah.. Of Course.. One year old-er that is.



The trio... Seriously, when we took this pic, The people around us were smiling coz they thought it is 'Aqiil's birthday.. Wakakka.. Padahal, it's the mum's birthday..



'Aqiil got a balloon from the staff.. I gave it to this girl who came over and play with 'Aqiil.. Since 'Aqiil is too young to play with the balloon, I might as well give it to the girl..

'Aqiil is chaotic, with or without the balloon..



And here is the man who made it all happen for me.. Yee haa.. Oh this is just part 1..

The next day, Ayie and I went for a date..Minus the boy of coz..

We went Karaoke and sang our lungs out...

Then rush all the way to Woodlands to catch Transformers.. The effects was good but the ending was too soon...

I am not working today after two days of slogging.. I am on MC. I went to the doc this morning just to get medicine for my flu and sore throat. I had endured it for two days but the pain got worse and the blood in my phlegm and mucus was getting more.. So instead of heading back to work.. I went back home instead...

I really thank Allah for letting me live a year longer.. To be able to spend time with my family and to watch 'Aqiil grow and develop each day...

Tomorrow evening would be the last installment.. The Flyer ride with Ayie, 'Aqiil, Su and Bean..I hope I get better real soon..

:: Tired But Happy ::

Yeah.. Huda is engaged now.. And Insyallah, wedding bells should ring soon.. Then we can hear the pak pak bing bing.. I am so sure, I will be very busy.. Macam aku yang nak kawin tau.

Anyway, I took my DST off today, so that I can embark in my new project... My very first that is..



How?? Okie??

It was alright lah to me.. My house was so warm as my mom was cooking for Huda and my icing melted.. So sad.. But for a first timer, I think it was quite okie.. Ain help me with the decorations..

Anyway, right after I am done with the cake, we went to Huda's place to help with the setting up.. Cik Zizah was in need of some help so we came to the rescue... Kekeke. And tadaa.. Before you know it, everything was done.. Ain also help to decorate the pau sambal for handaran and I just did simple decoration for the koleh lup lup.. Lol..

We left at about 7.30pm. My head was starting to show signs of migraine.. But I just tried to ignore it.. Ayie left for home and get me proper top to attend the engagement..

8.55pm, we were back and bout 15mins later, the guy side arrive..

And finally. here is Huda with the guy's hantaran..She also cannot dudok diam one.. Lol..

I had to leave at 10.30 as my migraine was killing me.. Alhamdullilah, two panadol and a good massage from Ayie, it is gone now..

Ayie is off at work, I think I shall wait for him to come bake..Have a great weekend everybody.. I am sure, I will have a great one.. I am turning 28 soon..

:: Oh Tetikus ::

It's terrible when both your touchpad and mouse turns against you at the same time.. I was laptopless since there is no point using the laptop without both mouse and touchpad.. So just now, I invest in a new cordless mouse. A bit expensive but definitely worth it. The USB connector is so small, I barely notice its existence... Oh I like the word tetikus.. Tetikus... tetikus.. I learnt that mouse is Tetikus in Malay from the children's programme Click. That was sometime back..

Anyway my baby is 9 months old now.. How fast.. Sometimes I think it is way too fast.. He was once a baby who sleeps all the time, I was hoping he grow a bit faster so he can play.. Then he started smiling.. I wanted him to start baby talk quickly.. Then he started turning, I wanted him to start crawling. Then he started learning how to pull himself up.. and now, I want him to stop growing. To just stay the way he is and let me enjoy having him as a baby..

Our little boy is now 9.03 kg which is the average weight of boys his age and 74cm which is 25% above average... Looks like he's gonna be quite tall..

Just now, he actually stand without holding onto anything... He does that twice, each time lasting about 5 seconds.. Well that's something to me..

And since the Kitchenaid is soon making it's way to my new kitchen.. I am all hype about baking.. We went to Bake It Yourself at Bukit Timah and bought some baking utensils.. And I am very excited bout my project for a childhood friend. I hope it will turn out nice.. Insyallah..

And it is sad that I can't go for Abg Iman's retirement tomorrow..

:: I Heart hubby ::

It was an advanced birthday gift.. Since I wanted this so much.. It is like a dream come true...




Thank you dear for this... I shall make sure I fully utilise it.. Kekekke..

Oh 'Aqiil went to the movies with Ain and Irah. I think they watch Ice Age 3. Babies nowadays are so lucky.. I had to beg my mom to let me watch movies last time..

:: Teriffic Tuesday ::

I did not go to work yesterday due to diarrhea. Okie, I will be frank, the diarrhea was mild, my penyakit M was more acute..

The absence of my laptop means I spend time with 'Aqiil. Went to my mum's place to feast on Mee Soto soup and Mee hongkong soup.. I have this liking for soups.. So when I eat mee hongkong or mee soto, i will request for less noodles and more soup. In secondary school, i only buy the soto soup..

So after the lepak session at Mak's place, we left for Sheng Shiong. Bought Maggi and maggi and more maggi... Wakakaka.. I also bought the ingredients for my virgin Kuih Bakar attempt..

My kuih bakar turn out well.. Yummy I must add. But the kuih bakar is so easy, it's hard to go wrong...



These are the last few pieces and by the time I type this, they are all gone... I shall make some for Bibik.

Haz, why not we open a blog.. You post pics of all your western recipes, I do the malay ones.. And we have an excuse for the weight gain.. No choice wat, cook oredi must eat mah..

Ayie loves to irritate 'Aqiil.. He will pin 'Aqiil down and 'Aqiil will cry for help.. Make all kinds of faces.. When I told him to stop, he will say that he love looking at 'Aqiil's contorted faces..

Last week catering was also quite relaxing.. The guest only came in at 12pm so that left us with plenty of time to take photographs.. Well that is the next thing that we do best..
