:: Economic Crisis ::

My bank account is having a major problem. The funds are depleting dangerously at a very fast rate. Since 21 May 2006, I have spent almost $700. Wow.. And there is more to come. I am melting down my chair. I still have to buy my shirt and Nor's prezzie. Sometimes I just take it as this is all for the happiness of family and friends. The $700 bucks are spent on others and not myself. I think the only time I splurge onmyself is on taxi fares.. Well I think the perfume that I want will have to wait.. Maybe next month payday... Well I seldom splurge like this as most of the time I'm saving...

I remember the last time I took psycho test was when I applied for my job. Consit of many many questions to be done in a specified time frame. Though normally I don't bother bout the emails I received that has something to do with check what your name or birthday means and some test with some questions. Today I did. Why?? Because at the moment, I've got nothing to do.. (Thank God my boss doesn't read this).

I don't know how true that is but some is quite accurate. Then I took the Dr Phil Test. Courtesy of Yati. I scored 47. That means...

41 TO 50 POINTS

Others see you as fresh, lively, charming, amusing, practical and always interesting; someone who's constantly in the center of attention, but sufficiently well-balanced not to let it go to their head. They also see you as kind, considerate, and understanding; someone who'll always cheer them up and help them out.

At the moment I am just looking forward to meet Ayie. We have not met for 4 days. Gosh.. Too busy ah.. Anyway, it's been quite a while since I met up with Su too.. And Nor was also in the waiting list. Might meet her on Friday if she's got nothing on. And Ina and Yati... Argh.... So many things to do and so little time.. This weekend my mom will be cooking for wedding. Got to help her out then..

Okie I finally got work to do now.. Till I blog again.. Which I guess would be soon.. Kkekekeke..

:: Lurve Shopping ::

The shopping trip that was supposed to be a lonely one turns out differently.. Moi darling Lihua accompany me and we shop like crazy. I think I won't be saving this month. Just splurge...

I bought this Titus watch for mummy... I meant Ain and Hafiz chip in as well... But with a black face.. Wit one tiny diamond at the bottom right hand corner. Very classy wokey.. It's a birthday cum mother's day gift.

Thought of buying this one for my Nor Dear. How?? It is nice. I shall go find out if there are other colours available lah...

I bought one sandals which not only me but Ayie will love. It looks ugly on picture but when worn, nice.. I lioke..Lihua also bought a pair of heels. We even decide that we are gonna go shopping together one day.. Kekekke.. Very happy. Bought wax and even look around for Ayie sis bday prezzie.. Wah best..

:: No Plans ::

I got no plans today. Ayie is working the morning shift so he will be back late. Su should be out with Bean since it's his off day today. Sinah got class and basically everybody is out. Not sure if I wanna ask Li Hua. She just recover from migraine so must let her rest. Worse come to worse, I'll go on my own.. Alahai so pitiful.

So what is on my shopping list? I am looking for a watch for my bestie bday present. It's actually last year birthday prezzie but I gave away her present as it was too late to give. Therefore I am getting her a new one. Long overdue but better late than never right? Not sure if I wanna buy Guess or Titus. Hmmm... But after some chatting with Cynthia, I am settling down on Fossil. I kinda like Fossil too..

Next on the list is pumps.. I need new pumps coz mind is almost torn. I not sure what colours I should get. I scout around and see which one I fancy... And I thought of buying a shirt. For the ceremony this Thursday. Or should I just wear teh ones I have. Save money a bit...Oh my.. I am spending so much on shopping.. Su.. If you are reading this.. The virus has spread to me...And it is spreading fast.... Beyond control...

Ayie was telling me yesterday that his uncle disturb him. They told him they wanna make a rombongan. Ayie said rombongan to where.. And they said to Blk #** lah... Kekekeke.. Apparently, his dad told them about me. Well that is a pretty good sign of approval.

So anybody... If you are reading this and you feel like going shopping.. Gimme a buzz ya...

:: Aching all over ::

My body hurts.. Argh.. I am feeling so sore... Went for my IPPT yesterday and I didn't complete my 2.4km run. I only run 1km and I didn't continue. Actually I could have passed if I did. It took me 6.30 mins to run the 1km. so by calculation, I should be able to complete by 15 mins. That's a silver. But no point brooding about it. Ayie nag and nag. He said I was not training enough to get monetary rewards and he blame my work coz I have been clocking late hours.. Kkekeke..It's okie yang.. Once my sore is all gone, I will start training ya..

The Great Singapore Sale is on till 23.07.2006. It was the shopping therapy again. I bought lingerie. I am a sucker for them. I just can't get enough. The lacy ones especially. Oozing with sex appeal.. Muakakakka... I saw this sandal... Nice with shells and stuff and it was so comfy. I might go grab it. 19.90 is quite a steal. Also looking for new pumps. Mine almost torn.

Second time we went to Al Majlis at Arab Street. I love the mixed sausages since I am a sausage lover. Ayie was pissed with the cashier. Lucky it was him who went to pay. So still quite composed. If it was me, I would have burst there and then. She have the cheek to tell Ayie to go back and check his table number as she have too many orders here. She got no time to check and find his order. Such rudeness. The reason we patronize that place is because the kakak was very nice.

We went for movies again yesterday.. It was Over the Hedge.. The show was okie.. Not extremely good but entertaining. Funny... I was sitting so comfortably coz there wasn't much people in the cinema.. We are now meeting almost every other day. Maybe to make up for the lost time for the past two weeks. Well, I thank Allah everyday for sending me someone like him. I will never ask for anyone better coz he's the best.

I am praying hard for Su... Insyallah, Allah akan senantiasa melimpahkan mereka rezeki yang banyak. Banyakkan doa dan usaha.. Insyallah... And another good news, Noren is pregnant. 2nd child. Yippeee..

I will be working tonight. Tired but nevermind lah... No just wanna slag around and enjoy the day before I go to work. Tomorrow will be a gal's day out for me and the two beautiful ladies.. I just can't wait. Ezzam couldn't make it due to his commitments. Neverending ones that is... There are great because they are frank. I like frank people. They tell you that you did something wrong not because they are jealous but because they care. They want to be there.

:: Stubborn Ayie ::

Sorry dear, I told you yesterday that my entry title will be 'stubborn Ayie'. He is stubborn like a mule.. Arghh.. When you tell him something he doesn't listen and I have to repeat myself again and he still do it his way till I am almost piss he will go saying "what was that you were saying yang??". Argh.. He will keep his stuff and when he starts searching, he couldn't find it and when I look for it, tadaa.. It's there.. But nevermind, despite that stubborn persona, he's nice to me.. I can't expect a perfect other half right.. Must be contented. I ain't perfect either.

Yesterday, we wanted to watch m:i:III but end up watching X-Men: The Last Stand. A sneak preview at Eng Wah Suntec. Thanks to mty wokplace who gave us 4 free movie passes.. It's believe to be the finale of the trilogy. As always, I only watch the last one so I have no idea how the first two are like. Anyhow, I do like it. My favourite is the Beast. Wah he fights, power. I am gonna buy the CD for Papa..

I will rate it 8 popcorns out of 10 popcorns. Three X-men died. I won't divulge in the details. Spoil the fun lah kan.. Kkekekeke

It will be a ritual now for us. After watch movie, take a pic with the billboard. Lol.. The GSS is coming. Two months of retail theraphy. But then again, I don't really wait till there are sales before I shop. And I've already spent so much money on shopping this months.. Maybe, I will just get two or three stuffs lah kan.. Kekkekeke

The news is out. You can't pay your school fees using CPF if you are studying in SIM. Because, eventhough it is now Singapore 4th Uni, it is a privately funded one. And they said that, the students in SIM are all well to do. No.. That's not right?? I am not well to do... I scrimp just to save the school fees.. What to do.. Guess I just have to carry on scrimping for another two more years..

:: Family Outing ::

At last the long awaited dinner and bowling session is here. It was a blast. Our key person, Papa was finally free. Ya... he is always busy with fishing that is. Dinner was a Sakura. The food was not that nice though Especially the Tom Yam. It was very sweet. Disappointing since that was one of their signature dishes.

Our opening picture by wannabe photographer. She scored low on quality but let's give her good grades for efforts lah. You should practice more so your hands won't shake when u snap.

On the left : Mak and Papa.
On the right : Hafiz and me

So what's on the menu. Plain Rice for the kids, Claypot Beef Rice for Mak and Seafood Fried Rice for Papa. Chilli Crab, Oatmeal Prawns, Sweet Sour Slice Fish, Kailan with Beef, Hotplate Beancurd and Tom Yam Soup. I give the food only 6/10. Seriously it wasn't that nice lah.. So not Sakura.

Mak and her four fantastic kids. Yes we are shameless.. We call ourselves fantastic. Kekekeke.. Who cares right??

When their stomach are full and my pocket is empty, we take a family shot. Alamak the girl did not take a good one lah.

On the left : Us goofing around in the van. Kekekek
On the Right : Hafiz and Ira showing the new bowling style. Accuracy and power guranteed.

Team name : Hero Mati Last
Team members : Papa, Ira and Me.

Team Name : Syaid
Team members : Mak, Ain and Hafiz.

On the left : "Hero Mati Last" Score
On the right : "Syaid" Score

Eventhough "Hero Mati Last" lost the game. We have pretty impressive scores. Papa is the top scorer for the first set and I am the top scorer for the second set. We shall groom our youngest seed and she might just do well with her new bowling style. Okie Ira.

After the game, final family pic. Couldn't afford to take more as my battery flat liao. Everybody were so happy and we might go for another outing like this in July. I have my July Bonus then.

Ira is so happy when she got these balloons. But I wasn't so happy because it's junk in the house. As if now there's isn't enough.

Ayie send me to HQ just now because last minute I had to see Head Sup. After that he fetch me from HQ and we proceed to Far East for lunch. After that he even send me to Jurong. Thanks Dear, I really appreciate it a lot.

Okie news is out. I am promoted. Kekekek. I am super happy because it means more money and more leave.. Yahooo..

Okie I am off now.. Back to work.

:: Makansutra ::

I wanted to blog everyday if I could but work commitments forbids me from doing so. I have been getting little sleep due to the late nights. And late nights are going back home after the sunrise. Yes, when I leave office, the sky is well lit. Bright as ever, people are going to work and even the policemen are starting new shifts. At times I get quite pissed course it really clash with my plans with Ayie but well, it's my job and I love my job.

Met Ayie yesterday and he was so accomodating. Extremely. No fussing and nagging when I was half an hour late. Went for late lunch since it was already 6pm. I had my usual Maggi Goreng and Carrot with Milk Juice while Ayie had his Nasi Paprik and Watermelon Juice. He was planning to bring me for dessert ah Secret Recipe since I had so wanted to eat Mango Delight. Yes, that cake that brought us together. But after dinner I was so ful so I told him that we should just skip it and go next time. He insist we go today after his haircut.

So it was secret recipe. I saw my Mango Delight sitting nicely at the display counter. We ordered one Mango Delight and Ayie beam at the picture of Banana Split in the menu.

Ayie: Yang, the Banana Split here is so ex compared to Al Amin eh?
Rose: Dear, they use a good quality ice cream lah. taste nicer
Ayie: Nolah yang.. All ice cream is the same..

So in the end no Banana Split, he wasnted the single scoop ice cream instead. Fickle lah this Ayie. So when the desserts arrive, as per normal, I go snapping away.

The Mango Delight was simply divine, the many chunks of Mango. Hmmm... My full stomach turns empty after that. Ayie scoop his chocolate ice cream and put it in his mouth. Then he said, "Yang, the taste lain ah.. Sedap ah.. Tak macam Al Amin". Duh.... *roll eyes*

After that went to Ngah' s house. She was so happy coz it's been so long since we came over. I told her that Ayie was bsuy at work and I'm caught up with school and work. After that Ayie call Bean and Su to meet up for dinner at JB as always. The two of coz, set nyer.

While waiting for them at the checkpoint, Ayie and I started snapping away. The two narcicist combine powers..

We can really take pictures.. Met Su and Bean and we all proceed to Sayam for our late dinner. What's on the menu? Plain rice, Pari Bakar (I don't eat that), Kailan with Salted Fish, Stuffed Omelette, Tom Yam Seafood Soup and Fried Chicken with Tumeric. Really ate a lot yesterday. To repay all my lost meals for the busy week I guess.. Kekekke.. Due to my bad migraie, we left even before we finish the Sheesha..

Once reach my block, Ayie asked me how's my day? Did I enjoy myself? I said of coz but I have migraine.. Then he say nevermind at least I enjoyed myself. He said I love you so many times from the void deck till he sent me up to my house. Maybe it's due to our long absence from each other. We met only once a week now. Haiz..

Will be off for a family outing later after Maghrib. My treat to dinner and bowling. Will take pics and load them up soon ya.. At press time, Ira is busy with the Ice Age Disc that I bought for her. She's a super happy kid right now.

:: You lost ::

Yes... That is the exact words that I would like to say to Arsenal eventhough I don't deny that they are good. But then again, Barcelona proved to be better, winning them 2-1.

Am I a soccer fan?? Not really but I do like to watch good games. And I will support any team that Ayie is against for the fun of it. hahaha... Ya, so that Ayie and me can bicker and spice things up while we watch soccer together.

Ayie called me in the afternoon to tell me that Arsenal lost. But before he manage to do that I cut him by laughing... He said he was said and that the referee was siding with Barcelona and stuff.. I told him that every fan will say that when their dream team lost. Anyway dear, I can feel every inch of your agony. Perhaps they should try harder next year. And if Henry get himself transferred, the chances for Arsenal is gonna dip even lower.

Anyway I am missing Ayie a lot.. The busy schedule decide to drop by again this week. I really hope it will not drag every coming week in future though. Argh.. It's like we only meet once a week and that is also so hard. Really have to work hard to squeeze some time so that we can meet.

Had my shopping theraphy with Su just now. Bought two tops from Giordano and two tops from this Civic Centre shop. Really spent a lot. Haiz.. But no regrets coz I really like it. Almost bought a pair of new pants from Giordano. It nice, the colour and it's hipster. but no size. Only in sizes 24 and 25. I wish I'm that size... Argh...

It was tiring since I was working from 9am of Tuesday to 9pm on Wednesday with only 4 hrs of sleep. The case I did turn out very well and I am really happy. Hope that in future all the case turn out well. Back to work tomorrow and my Mandarin class. So adioz.. I think I wanna sleep. Can't get enought of them... Muacks..

:: I'm Ok You're Ok ::

It's actually a song by MxPx that I use to listen if I am not wrong... With the guys back then in poly. Ya it was great.. really great coz you have good company with you all the time. Nah.. I'm not saying that now it 's not great. It's great now.. Made new friends and perhaps a different gender.. Kekekeke.. Eversince I'm with Ayie, I am actually making more gurl friends that is. His friends' wives lah, gfs and sisters...

Sunday, 14 May 2006 is Arwah Aat's 4 years death anniversary. Time really flies. I feel that we just met yesterday. He's so naughty and mischievious and he never fail to put a smile on my face.. All of us here miss him. I am really glad that when I met Cik Ru, his mom, last Sunday night, she look better, unlike last time where she use to cry at the sound of his name. Alhamdullilah...

I am actually at work now.. Having ops but since I did U/C the other day, I am kept under wraps for the time being.. No good coz it boring to be cooped up in the office with nothing to do and I am not allowed to move around to avoid exposure..

I notice that more and more people are actually using vulgarities in their everyday lives like as if vulgarities can convey the exact way that they are actually feeling. I mean you go **** here and **** there. And if you are a gurl, it really make look very unglam.. Kekekkee.. Anyway, it's really up to the individual how they want to potray themselves at the end of the day. I am no angel but I refrain myself from the vulgarities as I find them unnecessary lah..

I am also looking forward to catch a movie with Ayie. The last movie we watch was Ice Age 2. He really wants to watch m:i:III. I have free tix from Eng Wah. Thanks to my workplace. I've got good news.. But I think I shall wait till it's official before I share with you all okie..

:: It's Sunday ::

Wow.. My super long weekend is gone in just a jiffy. I was off on Thursday so it was a long 4 days holiday.

Anyway, just got a call from Ayie Darling who's at work now.. His car broke down.. kekekek. so he called me to chit chat with him while waiting for his colleague to collect another car.

Yesterday was fun.. Met Bean and Su after work over some food and Sheesha... As per normal. Then Mariah Carey's song came up.

Rose : eh gal si Mariah Carey nie muka dier macam bapok eh.. Tadik I saw her kat Glitter.
Su : Tak ah.. She's more like a slut ah... The she looks at Ayie and say opps.. (censored ah konon)
Ayie : Asal yang??
Rose : Takder I was saying Mariah muka macam bapok..
Ayie : Taklah.. Macam slut ah muka dier...

So Su and I burst laughing.. Ayie looking clueless.. So I explain.. No Su was censoring herself when she said slut because of you then you also said slut.. Haha.. I told Su that maybe I've corrupted Ayie's mind..

It was really fun meeting the two coz it has been quite sometime since we actually met due to Ayie busy schedule prior to the Elections. Now his schedule is back to normal, at least for the time being. We are both looking forward to our one year anniversary next month and I have to start looking for a gift. Being the kiasu one.. I start my research early..

I am off now to chat with Su. We both have a long term mission here to accomplish.. Kekekeke

:: Abused ::

I really like this song by TLC. They were like hot when I was in Sec school. Sec one and Sec two days... But the message that was sent through this song is very deep.

I have seen a lot of woman being abused. I mean, we can't deny the fact that majority of those who were abused are actually woman. In my workplace itself, I hear my sups telling me how their husbands hit them. And some came with the bruises on their face and body. Swollen eyes and cracked lips. They left me wondering why they still stick by these men who made them their punching bags.

Is it love that made them forgive this man or are they living in denial. Afraid to let go due to the uncertainty or insecurity. I really cannot imagine sleeping with someone whom you don't know when the next attack will be. But I guess I would never understand as I haven't really asked them the reasons behind it. One friend told me that it is because of her children and marriage that made her endure.. with a hope that he would change..

Well I really hope that all the man out there who are guilty of abusing their wives to stop and think. Do violence or all that vulgarities actually help solve all the problems. I believe the answer is obvious.

:: May Babies ::

Okie this post is dedicated to all the May babies.. Well not much but 3 that I actually know of...

First is Sakinah.. Who celebrates her 13th birthday on the 3 May 2006.

Then Kak Linda.. Celebrating her birthday today in Japan.. Today, 12 May 2006, you celebrate your 30th birthday. But she always say she's in her late twenties.. Well I guess this time.. You definitely are in your very late twenties.. Kekekek..

And to my mom who is celebrating her 48th birthday this 17 May 2006.

To all the May babies, may your birthday bring you blessings from Allah and I doakan agar di panjang kan umur, murah rezeki and senantiasa di berkati-Nya.

A new addition to my blog now. I will be leaving a quote after every entry that depict the exact way I am actually thinking. And for today it's by John Locke. he's an empiricist. One of those theories I am actually studying.. *frown*

:: Who to blame?? ::

My mom said that I am open-minded. No.. She said that I am too open-minded. I am blunt and direct. As such, some people might not be able to accept what I say and think. The way I voice out my opinions. Ayie said that I am determined and upright. When I feel something is wrong, I would stick to my principles and would not relent to the fact that it is might be acceptable in certain circumstances. So who should be blamed? Me, for being that kind of individual, my parents, whom people might blame for not raising me in the correct way, the education system that made my thinking so liberalized or the society, due to it's ever -changing dynamics and hence led me to think in a way that I accept new ideas and at times do not conform to the norms.

Well. I believe that nobody is to blamed for my actions because I choose to be that way. I believe that life is about choices. Your actions is a reflection of yourself hence, there is no one that should be blamed for what you do. You are responsible for yourself once you have reach the age where you can think. I do agree that I think in an unconventional way. But that doesn't mean that I am too liberalized until I forget to diffrenciate between what is wrong and what is right. I can choose to smoke and drink and club and do drugs and drink alcohol course I am practically surrounded by that kind of environment. I can wear all those tubes and spaghettis but I don't. Not because my parents do not allow me to do so but because, I choose not to. I am even embarrased to wear a sleeveless top outside of my home because I do not want to reveal so much skin. I even take the trouble to ensure that my tops are long enough, so that when I sit, I don't expose my back. So as I said, I make the choices. You may be faced with 1001 influences, but at the end of the day, you choose what you want to be.

My mom said that I embarassed her when I wrote that entry in my blog. So the question here is, why should she? I am the one who wrote it, so it is wrong and unfair for people to do that to her. Yes, people would say that I am her daughter, but that doesn't mean that she should face the repercussion of my actions. Of course not. It would take an extremely shallow minded if they ever do that. Well but I guess that it wouldn't be hard to find people who are like that in Singapore. If I murdered someone, I would be the one to be sentenced to death by hanging. To face that burly big guy who will put a rope around my neck while my face is covered with a black cloth and then he will proceed to pull the lever and I will drop, my neck will snap due the the sudden force. The doctor will then come and check for my pulse before pronouncing me dead. My parents are not guilty and so they don't have to face the death penalty with me.

I really hope one day, the society will be able to accept that. To think in a more positive way. While Singapore is said to be moving forward in terms of technology, development and economy, the same cannot be said for her people.

:: Chaos ::

My Oh My, It was a chaotic day for me. Well it has been chaotic for the past three weeks due to my ECA and all. But the chaos yesterday was about my entry I think somewhere early last month. It actually offend someone eventhough I did not put any names.

Anyway, to the person, with due respect to my parents (and that includes all the nagging and reasoning why some things are not meant for publishing), I have already removed the post. My sincere apologies to you because in the process of airing my thoughs, I have hurt and offended you. However, I would appreciate that in future, anybody who feels that I have offended you to inform me personally.

Anyway all that episodes did not and will not deter me from blogging. Kekekke.. Who knows one day the papers have vacancies in their editorial team and would like me to be a part of them for a short stint, do call me ya. Kekek tak tahu malu tol..

Freedom ala Braveheart is what I am actually feeling right now. Though it will only be for a short period of time. I am now finally in the semester break. I am hoping to sustain my grades so that I will graduate with good honours. However, even though I have certain expectations for myself, I would not be disappointed if I haven't done well. At least I know that I have put in the effort and dedication needed. (if sleepless nights and scoring low on social life counts).

What I am looking forward now is to go out with my friends and Ayie. I haven't met him for like almost a week due to his busy work schedule which I have to thank the polling day for and my busy work and studies schedules.

At the moment, I shall try my best to keep my blog generalized instead of being too personalized because I am the type who will try my best not to hurt others eventhough at times unconciously I end up doing so. Well maybe Anil my colleague didn't give me the name Queen of Sarcasm for nothing. Muakaka. Anyway, Anil you must be happy since my transfer, there is no one to argue with you huh. Or perhaps you might miss the arguing that is why you asked for transfer. *wink*. Okie I shall go off now. I wanna play game. Fowl Words. No Scrabble today since Azman is going for RT later and Heads are all coming. So have a nice day to all.

:: First Date ::

So exactly one year ago, we had our first date. How do I get to know him?? Well it's all about a slice of Mango cake followed by a card reader in F. Kekkekeke...

I didn't really know he exist. Then he join us for night ops. We just celebrate teh April babies birthday and there was a slice of Mango cake left. I offered so many people but nobody wants. At last, I found someone. Ayie.. He say can ah...

From that piece of Mango cake, we started talking and on the 30th April 2005, he asked me out. We met on the 2 May 2005 where he was 20 mins late. I almost left. Then he appeared. After that day, we talk more and he became more interested to join our ops.. Yalah carik chance. The guys disturb us and then we got together on the 13 June 2005.

It was really fast, thinking how time flies. We are together for almost a year now. Arguments are inevitable but we shared more happy moments together. Looking forward to spend more time wit you dear. And you still have yet to bring me to Secret Recipe for my dose of Mango cake. Muacks.. Love ya...
