HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR!!!!

Yesterday birthday bash for Ayie was definitely a blast. Except that he was late i was very pissed off with him. So who is the main star yesterday.. definitely Ayie lah.. Me, just the supporting role.. But quite important ah my role.. Provide food and entertainment. Pay somemore.. Muakaka.. Well i was happy though that evrything turn out amazing.. Here's the star.... ala matrix..

First up, gave Ayie his birthday present. iniatially he wanted to open it slowly but somehow his fingers ain't nimble enough. He end up tearing the wrapping paper. The gift, Boss Bottled perfume. His perfume sumer dah bis, so just nice to replenish. I like the box. Very nice and in my favourite colour.

Then the cheesecake is next.. Yummy he said.. delicious.. Biasa ah.. sapa yang buat kan... Fantastic Four lagi.. i tasted some also.. Mmg sedap lah..

Harry Porter and the goblet of fire. Reach Orchard at about 2.55. Our movie was at 3.05. Gosh it was madness. Ayie drop me outside cineleisure and i proceed to collect the tickets while he go park the bike. Wah ader minah nie 3 org chwee matair aku ah.. Biasa eh.. kekekkeke.. Nampak motor besar jerr tgk eh... tak bagos tau..kekeeke.. Anyway thanks to the guy at Cathay for giving me my tickets so i need not queue. The queue was so long, we definitely won't be able to make it. The the cinema was pack. Tak sia sia aku book tickets one week ago.. It was my first HP movie yesterday. Not bad lah.. Kinda like it. And we quarrel in the cinema. Ayie was angry that i said "I am very pissed off with you now.." So we ended not talking for almost an hour.. kekeke.. i almost cried but tahan jerr. Then he finally said sorry to me... and things turn out fine..

That is the good thing with Ayie, he will never keep his anger for long and will never have a problem saying sorry. When things happen, we will work out for a solution instead of yelling at each other.. But normally he never yell.. only i do, oopps... haiz...

Okie forget bout the quarrel...We make up after that so no point brooding about it.. we went for dinner at downtown east. Ayie was very happy coz i bring him somewhere he have never been before.. The place is nice. The food is good but noisy lah.. Tapi takper.. still best..

Initially, we wanted the staff to take pictures for us.. But the turn out was bad.. So we took ourselves.. Lawa kan..

Hmmm after showing u all the pictures.. Forget to intro the place we went to. Sakura International Buffet... 24 bucks for dinner and 20 bucks for lunch. add 2 bucks for friday, weekends and PH. wah aku macam promo lak tok dorang.. Next month bonus.. I gonna give my family a treat there.. Then we go bowling.. This time, it was ayie's treat. Muakakka.. I didn't bring cash so he say i blanja u...

After that he stil can say "You slalu buat i marah, tapi asal eh i sayang sgt ngan you.." wah wah i also replied ah "sama ah jugak ngan i.. u slalu lambat, pastu buat i marah.. tapi i masih sayang kat u", haiz we two are just weirdos lah...

So now i wanna go makan nasi lemak.. Later have to start packing for the fraser and port dickson trip.. Wah best lah.. I'll be gone for six days.. So see u guys..

Masak Apa???

It's Ayie's Birthday today and the full force was busy making Berry Chocolate Cheesecake for him. The whole process starts at about 1.30am with Ain, Hafiz and not forgetting Ira joining in to make the cheesecake. So first we started out with the ingredients, sugar, cream cheese, Hershey's Baking Semi Sweet Chocolate, Cool Whip and also pie crust.

After all the mixing this is what we get. Hmm even at this stage it is yummy..






Then we started to scoop the mixture into the pie crust. Ain wants to dominate the whole scene but Ira was fast to protest. "Ira pon nak tolong tau" said Ira. Then Hafiz chipped in "Kau dari tadik orang sibok buat kau sibok makan cheese ah, chocolate ah, whip cream.. sumer kau nak makan.."

After the whole mixture are nicely scoop out.. We grate the chocolate to make shavings and then put it on top of the mixture..

With the strawberries and chocolate syrup added in.. Gosh doesn't that look delicious.... yummy i must say.. the strawberries was cut by Hafiz. See i told you everybody contribute in the making of this cake.

So there's this saying two cooks don't make good broth, who said that!!! I beg to differ because this four bakers makes really good cake...

So the people behind the succesful cake. From left, Ira, Hafiz, Ain and Me... So where's the cake now?? In the freezer again.. Kesian dier. Next project for the Fantastic Four Bakers would be a cheesecake for my mom and dad 26th wedding anniversary.

So everythings goes smoothly.. The cake, the present, the movies and then followed by the sumptious dinner.. Come back tomorrow to see the the hip things happening today.. Macam ye ye jerr aku nie.. Cherios..

Ayie's Bday Coming..Tick Tock Tick Tock

Gosh, it's Ayie's bday this coming Thursday. 24th November is the date the he will turn 28. I haven't even start planning for his bday as i was busy with work and then with all this hari raya visiting.. Anyway.. I kinda have everything nicely planned out. A birthday card, a cake, a present, a sumptous dinner and movies. Movie of that day would be Harry Porter. Ayie just love this movie so i book the tickets last friday just to ensure we get good seats. Okie it may sound kiasu but I want the best for him that day. There would be a surprise for that day but i am not gonna spoil it by revealing it. The gift, card and cake all still haven't buy. I hope that i will be able to get everything done by tomorrow as time is really running out. Wat can u say.. I am the queen of procrastination.

Yesterday i went over to Ayie's place. Dab Dub Dab Dup jantung ku.. Kinda calm since i have Suriya and Bean to accompany me. Mai aii.. his house got 4 kittens. All black. So scary. his mom was staring at me one kind then after that she was okie.. I cuci the pinggan at his place.. Maklomlah nak score points.. Kaching.. The points just keep on rolling..

Then we went over to Awang's place. Aidil was there earlier..Biasalah janji kul 4.3

0 we only arrive at 5. Makan pengat pisang. Kinda like awang coz he very relek ah.. (Actually all ayie's fren are nice ppl..). Then all six of us went to JB to Nor's house. We arrive at about 8 since we singgah Abg pen's place before that. Si Suriya macam ye ye nak tahan kencing then in the end kencing jugak kat umah abg pen.. Tahan tahan ader kang basah jerr motor bean.. Muakakak..

At Nor's place, his baby was super cute... Punyalah tembam and asyik ketawa jerr.. Yasmin yasmin.. u better get PPO (Police Protection Order ) coz i am gonna lose my resistance and bite you... We took pictures as Nor's place only, coz i forget to take at the rest. But as u can see, i won't be publishing them today since my cam as per normal wit my darling. Our plans to go Sayam eat cancelled as i am afraid i couldn't make it back to singapore on time. I have to report to HQ at 1.30am. Thanks honey for sending me. You were soak wet on your way home as it was raining cats and dogs.

I reach home at about 5.30 in the morning. Ayie woke up to call me coz he thought i am still not home. so nice of him... Macam mana tak sayang eh.. I told him why everybody is losing weight yet i am still fat. I look like a dugong.. Haiz.. He assured me as per normal saying that i am not fat. He loves me the way i am now. I am making him sad when i say that i look like dugong... kekkeke.. But dear, i am a gal.. I am concern when it comes to weighty issues.

Went for that Deeparaya just now, usher again... sometimes i do not know whether it is a compliment that i am chosen (because they think i am pretty) or because the pretty ones are busy.. Watever the reason is.. It took me 1 1/2 hours to travel to HQ for a mere 5 mins job. Yes it sucks, you don't need to remind me. Free makan though The food was nice..

it's been a long and tiring day today. I guess i shall retire early... Good night everyone.. Tomorrow is a brand new day...

Open Sesame!!!

Hah!! At last i got my camera back from Ayie and I can now share the hectic moments of my open house.. Here are all my frens who came down... First is Kak Mid and Family who really surprise me.. I was super happy that she came. Maklomlah i am kinda close to her back when i was still in Ang Mo Kio. Didn't take photo though since i was kinda busy. Next it was the old guys from NYP and Arwah Aat's ol frens..

Then about 3 plus, Li Hua and Andrew came.. He was busy stuffing himself with the food.. Li Hua fell in love with the cocktail Jelly..

Then came pinky and the brain.. You shall decide who's pinky and who's brain. Yati is one of the avid follower of my annual open house. Confirm she will ask me when my open house will be held. This year msg was like this "Eh bila kau nyer open house this year. Kau buat tak.. Kalau buat bilang aku date, time ngan bus nombor brapa..". Well i think when u get close to someone u won't be shy anymore.. That's the great thing bout friendship..

Then Ayie, Abg Pen and Awang came. Now i seem to keep calling Aidil, Abg pen since the rest call him that. After bout 20 mins later.. The whole gang came. There was Cik Budin aka Sham, Wan who was my classmate in primary school, Zam and Yen the newlyweds, Amin whom i remember was in the same skolah masjid as me and the rest, anoynomous. I donno them. I always love looking at the way ayie eat, macam berselera gitu. Lagi Lagi kalau ader udang...

Haseena came alone.. Kesian darling aku nie sorang... So happy that my soulmates came. Except for ezzam but it's okie dear. I would like to congratulate you for winning the video competition. My big darling who is super talented. Yippee..

Bob and Nora also came. Was kinda surprise since they didn't follow the guys yet they took the trouble to come over to my place. Thanks Nora dear.. Bersusah payah datang despite the fact that you are working the night shift that night. Muacks..

Then at 1am. Yes, your eyes did not play any tricks on you. Suriya, Bean and Ayie (He came twice that day) made their grand entrance at 1 am. Haha they are the final guest for that day. Suriya even tapao roti kirai, kari and kuih bunga rose. Naik abis kuih bunga rose aku bedal kat umah dier.. Su, next time don't be shy...just eat to your hearts content.

To Jariah and Dean.. Mana korang dua.. Mintak Address then cakap nak turun.. Dari pintu bukak sampai tutop tak nampak korang... takper eh, tapi Lain kali kene datang tau..

Then today, I followed Ayie to his fren Nora's house at Yishun. Makan bi hun goreng, daging masak kicap, ayam goreng, dalca and fruit salad. Ayie as per normal will go for rice with sambal udang and telor, daging masak kicap, dalcha and ayam goreng. Nowadays he really eat a lot. In his quest to put on weight lah kan.. Kekeke he really miss his chubby days .... He lost weight during the fasting month.

And when you put two people who both loves taking photos, This is what you get. Two narcicist. But we do take other people pics therefore that don't qualify us as a narcicist, am i right. I love this two pics course we both look so happy.

The one above very manja eh.. kekekek.. But i guess i am really manja with Ayie since he also pamper me. Giving in to me all the time.. Haha sometimes kesian gak kat dier.. Tomorrow we are going to Nor house at Pasir Gudang with all Ayie members and the wives club. I will be going to Ayie house tomorrow. Alamak gementar jugak.. It's all About Faeces

Okie.. it's been shity this week. Not that things has been going wrong but because i've got constipation. I've tried so many things that when i finally pass motion, i don't know which one actually works. Rose tea, I've tried, prune juice , i've tried and laxatives, definitely.. So while i am typing away giving you the updates, i am sipping my rose tea. This rose buds taste better, maybe bacause it was thanks to coffeeclub express. Way better than those i bought at the sinseh shop.

Went for movies with Jariah last thursday.. The company's great but the movie was not that fabulous. Not scary and very courtroom drama. The movie we are talking about here is The exorcism of emily rose. It's just a recollection of the events that took place. I think The Exorcist is really scary and definitely much better compared to the latter. Anyway Jariah, i think one day we should go chill out instead. Maybe makan session or drinking session. That way we will get more upclose and personal


Then on Friday had my normal stuff at work. After that was nightspot ops. Thanks dear for sending me to work in the morning. Then sending me to work again at night. I really appreaciate you to the max. Went to Hasinah house before going to work. Wah, it was great and as per normal, it was last minute. Ezzam couldn't make. Went back home at about 6 am, thanks to the guys who went drinking after the ops. Crazy lah this ppl. Most ppl go home after work but they go supper and drink till morning.

My open house on saturday was a blast. Tired but was really fun. I won't go into details since i'll be posting the pics soon. Sunday went out with suriya and bean again. Biasalah when bean, suriya, ayie and me meet up, it would definitely be makan.. Yang mengembang aku jerr lah nanti...

Tuesday i went for a run with rizal, thomas and azman. He bring us for a 5km run.. Oh my, my legs are still sore till now since i have not run since god knows when.. But i am pretty satisfied that i finish the run.. Yippee..

"Don't give in to tears of a moment"

I was having my usual boring DST at HQ today.. Slept from 9am till 3pm. Was super tired as we had open house the day before.. My duty was from 6pm till 9pm. So as i sat on the front desk.. start reading the papers till i stumble upon this article. It was in Today newspaper. The 10 November issue. The article was written by a 15 years old Jeremy Lim. Jeremy is unlike normal kids, he is disabled. He is also the Young Ambassador for the NKF Children's Medical Fund.

"The challenges will help disabled kids grow and learn more about themselves...taking the easy option may mean missing out on the laughter of a lifetime".

As i read the article, i felt that it is really a well written article. It is about parents of children with disabilities who give in to them thinking that they want to protect them. Jeremy empahasize that by doing this they are only spoiling them and depriving them from getting the best. The scenarios that he used, and the words describing his feelings were very appropriate. His dad winning argument is "If you want him to be strong, you must not pamper him. he must learn not only to endure the pain, but also prevail over it". As i am writing this, my mom is yelling at my sis who is running late for school. Thanks to all the pampering, she become a spoilt brat who at the age of 8 still cannot get things done on her own.

Not only this article reach out to parents of disabled kids, it is also good for evrybody. I remember when i was younger, i wasn't given the luxury that my siblings now enjoy. I used to curse and swear at the thought of it. But as i think it over, i realise that it actually teaches me to value life. That money does not give you everything.

I was agonising the fact that everybody keep saying that i put on weight, even though i can't really see it. Now i learn that instead of dwelling over it, i should get my fat ass up and start doing something. Instead of crying and calling ayie, i need to take action. Thanks to Jeremy, i learn that i would not give in to my tears of a moment as good timber does not grow with ease. The stronger the wind, the stronger the tress will be.

Yok Jalan Raya Yok!!!

Huh, yesterday was my very first jalan raya session with Ayie. Since we are also celebrating hari raya together for the first time, it was quite exciting for both of us. We were suppose to wear our maroon baju kurung but mine was still wet. settled for my orange one and to my surprise Ayie have a similar baju kurung. Dah sepasang...Wanna see???

Our First Checkpoint for the day were Anwar and Norsiah's place. Anwar is Ayie's colleague. Norsiah cook for ask fried pasta which is super spicy. Addictive though coz Ayie keep on eating in between sips of water. Mamat, Atiqah and Amirah, Anwar's nieces and nephews were so quite. It was such a pity that we did not take pictures at their place. Mamat bear a split resemblance of Anwar. Anwar sis was also friendly. Then at about 9.15pm we go to our next place. Bean and Suriya's place.

Kekeke... Suriya have this fat white cat. It was super big. As per normal, Suriya and me who also loves to take pics have fun wit this pose.. Come gal, let me eat you up..

While Ayie gets all serious with Bean during the minta maaf session, Suriya and I giggle our way through as per normal. Alah Su, u takder dosa pon ngan i... Kalau i ader.. Minta maaf eh...

Next we proceed to Dean and Jariah's place. Dean is Ayie's troopmate time Ayie SOC dulu. At last manage to take pictures with Jariah.. Ayie happy dapat amik gambar ngan Dean..

Then we took our group pics. Even though i've known Jariah for only about 4 months, we look like we've know each other for about 4 yrs in this pictures.

To everybody that whoose house was raided by us yesterday, sorry to impose on you guys. Anwar and family, thanks for the fried pasta, Suriya and Bean, the mee goreng mama and Dean and jariah, fried mee with bi hun. If i have offended you guys in the period of our friendship, either accidentlty or purposely, i would like to seek for your forgiveness in this holy month of Syawal. I will always pray for your well being and thanks for being such great friends..

I am Sick...

I have been sick for the past three days... Still not okie till now.. My nose is runny, i sneeze non stop and my throat's sore.. But that doesn't mean i must succumb to my illness and be moody.. I am still cheery and happy today eventhought my head feels like there's a ton of stones in them.

The word to describe the past few days of Hari Raya is Madness. Total madness. I have been a good gal tagging my parents here and there for the normal visiting. Kinda happy too since i met Ayie yesterday after six days of absence. He's busy with work and I'm also busy with work. He balik kampong on friday so didn't get a chance to meet him.. Absence makes the heart grow fonder", that is absolutely correct. i wonder which genius made that proverb.

Wanted to go back early from work today but thanks to Cynthia, Dino and Azman for making me stay till 7.15pm. Wanted to go back at about 5pm initially but well these ppl are really amazing. They manage to psycho me. So guys, if you are reading this.. u rock...

Called ayie just now and he is at work. he ask me to tell him honestly if i drank cold drinks today..I am bad at lying and i said yes i had chendol. kekeke...To divert his attention i told him the chendol is nice and cheap.. He straight away say isit... Mission accomplished...kekeke... Sorry dear... i can't help.. I can't resist chendol kan kan kan..

Anyway, tomorrow, i'll be meeting ayie..He just call me to say that he miss me. We won't be meeting his ex as there's a change of plan. He will be passing the things to her friend instead. Haiz..I can say that i felt the tinge of disappointment as i was really looking forward to see her. I heard so many stories that are unfortunately not good ones, so i just wanna see how the real person is. Yeah..Sometimes i am like that.. just need to please the curious teeny weeny part of me..

well well well, I hope i'll be better tomorrow and for ops tomorrow, i'm looking forward to some running around. When there 's accused to chase it's more fun.. Though tiring ah... Here's a quote for today..

It's been a hectic week and first day of Raya...Was so tired...We left at three and reach home only at about one...Visited Mokde, Pak Ngah, Cik Eda, Pak Itam and Pak Long place only..It was chaotic with the whole bunch of us gathered on that day. Dorang tu dah ilang...tah bila dorang pergi dan bila agaknyer dorang kembali..So we shall get upclose and personal with those here ah.. Nizam in purple is big but a gentle monster, then followed by me, Kak Linda, looks demure but when she open her mouth... Waduh, Hurricane Katrina also kalah, and last but not least is Abang Iman, Kak Linda's hubby...
