Okie, this is like the wrap up for like two weeks events since my pics are all with Ayie. The difficulty of getting my pics and taking nice pics, makes me want a cammie even more...
So first up was my first kampung wedding at Ulu Tiram. Despite not knowing anybody there, except for Ayie's aunties that is, it was really a nice experience. I got to know some of Ayie's uncles and even his grandfather.... The hospitality they extend to me was really much appreciated.
We met up with Ayie's aunty at Kampung Kurnia, JB, then his aunty drove us there.. Mak Idah drives like F1. So the laju lah.. Upon arrival, I went up to meet Ayie's mom who was busy introducing me to her relatives and friend's. Suddenly I became popular.. Wakaka..
We waited and waited. I was busy looking out of the window and straining my ears, for the sounds of the kompang.

The khemah with the tables and chairs for guest to eat. I was kinda amused at the helpfulness of the kampung people. Even kids were helping out. They really have the semangat gotong royong that is fast becoming extinct in urban Singapore. I really hope during my wedding, the semangat gotong royong is there. That makes the wedding much more fun. lebih meriah lah katankan..

Ayie, jadik mat tepi pintu..
After like roaming around and walking here and there, I heard the kompang. I also quickly rush to the door.

There is the kompang...

The pantin in blue..

The pantin in a matured couple. So it was very simple.. No pelamin and all..

See the kompang, even after the bride and groom take pics after pics, the kompang is still playing. Very good..

Me sit one corner, watching the spectacle in front of me.. Sopan sungguh I nie eh..

Atok Ayie, Cik I donno what her name is (forget oredi), donno who is that pakcik, Mak Idah, Ayie and Ayie's uncle.

Then I ajak Ayie roam around since I budak jakun lah.. Been like so long since I go kampung and I was excited when I saw the wooden houses. Behind me was a big rambutan tree with many many rambutan..
After that we also left for home...
Okie now that is done, we shall fast forward to Saturday's wedding.. It was my classmate's wedding.
Abdul Ghafur Khan and Nur Syahidah...
All of us decided to meet up so it's like a small class reunion.. Let's take a look at the pics..
