:: Coming to an end ::

In a few hours time, we will be bidding 2008 goodbye. Well lots of things happen in 2008 and the most wonderful would of coz be the arrival of 'Aqiil.

This Friday, 'Aqiil is turning 12 weeks old. Time flies by super fast.. That also means I am going back to work. I have no clothes to wear. Serious. I need a new wardrobe. I still haven't lose the weight. Not all I mean. My stomach don't say lah.. Dah ader spare tyre. I have difficulty diffrentiating my tum tum and my boobs.. Okie very crude but that is a fact. All those excess skin and flabs..

So come Monday, I shall start my gym training which have been put aside for way too long. I need to get fit since I will have my IPPT in Oct 09. Not only that, being trim would definitely make me happy. Easier to buy clothes and you look good as well as healthy.

'Aqiil is getting smarter each day. Now he not only cries. He wails.. Yes.. Last night when he was wailing, Ayie was carrying him... No matter what he does, 'Aqiil keeps wailing so he pass to me. He says I've got magic. Yes, true enough, he was quiet. Ayie said favouritism. How smart my Ayie. An excuse to his advantage. Now okie, I carry, once I start work, it's this thing called turn taking. Favouritism no favouritism. We shall learn to share, just like last time.

I have quite a number of pics to share. But that will have to wait till next time. Now at my mom's place. We are going out with Su and Bean later. Yahoo.. Best Best.. Su and I have so much to catch up on. Right?? *winks*. Oh and we have something up our sleeves for Bean's bday. Can't wait. Su please pass me the thing I asked for soon okie. So I can start the project fast.

:: Maggi and more ::

I have an obsession with Maggi. I ate instant noodles four times last week. And just now, I cooked the perfect Maggi for myself. The noodles are not hard or soft. Spring-y. Just the way I like it. The soup not too much or too little. Just nice. With the perfectly cooked egg. Heavenly...

Anyway, I very selenger. Last Wednesday, I was trying to take 'Aqiil's temperature and the the thermometer keeps beeping.. I called Ain, konon nak cakap, eh kau beli thermometer apa nie.. dah rosak.. Lucky she didn't pick up the phone. Rupe nyer, I did not put the disposable safety cover. I threw the old one and I did not replace thinking it would work without as I thought it is meant for use due to hygiene purposes. Nasib baik tak marah Ain. Buat malu jer..

Yesterday, we went to Causewat Point again. The three of us. 'Aqiil and Ayie shop, while I watch. Yah, now only the men in the house shop. The lady couldn't get anything she fancy.

Oh the photos that I develop from Snapfish are ready. Irah called to tell me the postman send a big box. Wah best lah. All my 704 pics with each costing only 0.14 after I include the postage. Now I only need to get albums.

I did not plan to go back to my parent's place but the pics are calling me.

And I think I shall skip the bag that would cost me a month's pay. I shall look look see see. Buying something I am not sure about might make me regret later.

Weekends jam packed with activities. Saturday helping my mom with Christmas dinner at a golf club. Then Sunday I have a wedding and birthday to attend to. Maybe squeeze some shopping and then perhaps go to JB after dropping 'Aqiil at my parent's place.

And after that hectic weekend, I just need to wait till I board that ferry to Batam on Monday morning with Ayie for a two day pampering. Blissful..

:: And the story goes ::

This is going to be a long entry and I am gonna dump everything into one entry. So that explains why it is long. 'Aqiil is down with fever so I am gonna make it short.

It has been going out almost everyday since confinement's over. Said that before I think. Saturday before Hari raya, we went for a wedding. Then went to my parent'scrib to change shoes. My feet was aching thanks to my 4 inch heels. Being away from heels for so long made my feet suffer. So we wanted to go Causeway when suddenly, Ain,mak and Ira wanna join. So we all went.

After shopping, we head to Starbucks to wind down. Huda my cousin in law join us since she was knocking off already.

Not only that, he can carry a wallet. Next time 'Aqiil, carry nenek's. Better moolahs..



So we bought this rompers which are just too cute to resist. It is so right. when grandma is around, Santa is not needed.

Hari raya was gerek.. Kak Linda brought white board with her and we played charade with peribahasa. Thanks but no thanks since we lost. We were winning till Busujai came over. Too bad Ayie was late since he was helping out with the Qurban. Kalau tak memang ada chance kiter menang...

and the smaller suspects. There were more who were not pictured. We had satay bbq-ing at the corridor plus mee siam and the usual lontong to feast on.



The cousins who is so so close. Ada blur skit. Cameraman tak bagos.

Anyway, right after Hari Raya, Ayie and I hit town. It's a Monday and yet there is still so many ppl. 'Aqiil was all nicely decked in orange and then he pooed. Yes, in the train. Pooed so much, he soiled his new rompers given by Awang.

So I got myself an excuse to shop for him. Bought him Rompers and overall in Khaki from BabyGap which coincidentally was having 30% sale plus additional 10% for UOB cardmembers. I also bought a cap for him and if it wasn''t for that invinsible rope that I tied myself to, I would have bought much more. It doesn't help when your hubby is one shopaholic too.

So we paid, ask the cashier to cut off the tag and then dress him in the shop itself.

Oh how did we clean him?

We both went into the handicapped toilet and washed him in the sink. Gross I know but can't help it..

See my bag?? It is asking for help. The amount of things I stuff in there is crazy. 3 diapers, one set of clothes, mittens and booties, a medium pack wet tissues, milk dispenser, 0.5l thermos flask, bottle, a big packet tissue, my purse, cardholder, handphone, ayie's wallet, ayie's handphone and my keys.

All in that handbag so on that day, we decide to scout on a new bag and that new bag is no longer available. Now I am in love with another bag. It is my one month's pay to get it and I have convinced Ayie that I will go two years without a new bag. But I am having second thoughts. Like sayang lah the money.

So after that,on the Wednesday after Raya, I went out with Su. It was her birthday on 11 Dec, so kinda advanced celebration. We had dinner at Seoul Garden lah. Where else kan..

I wanted to trick Su. I told her to take the bus since I wanna reach earlier and I can get her presents but she cabbed and reach before me. I told her I am in the bus and asked her to wait for me at Seould Garden when I am actually choosing her gift.



I had spend so much time thinking what to buy before I finally settled for this.



A bracelet. It was love at first sight for me. I looked at so many other stuffs but didn't like them..



And then Su told me she's gonna get Ice CReam. But she actually went tob buy me a rose. How su-weet kan..



Now it is on 'Aqiil's drawer.

Ayie decorate 'Aqiil's drawer which bought after the trip to Orchard. Chest kemana, cupboard kemana, end up, drawer plastic jugak kiter beli..

As if one buffet is not enough, I asked my mom and Irah out on last Friday. I heard my mom saying she like the Bonia bag so I just asked her out saying we go jalan jalan accompany me shop.

But before shop, we eat.

So when we reach Metro, I said, go choose any bag below $300. It's on me. Wah she super happy lah.. Choose and choose, then she settle for one bag.

Then she wanted to buy a slingbag. I look at her and say, okie bundle. I buy you both. Wah she also malu malu meow meow.. Happy lah..Well she did so much for me, so it was really nothing. I bought fitted sheet for myself, nor's present and some other stuffs. Not only I busted my diet. I busted my pocket too. But it was worth it.

Then two buffet is not enough. I went for another one on Saturday. Zaki's birthday celebration at Sakura Intl clementi woods.

No pics since he has yet to mail me..

And then Monday, I was out with 'Aqiil to watch Ayie play badminton at YCK indoor stadium.

I went jalan jalan at Northpoint looking for Harvey Norman only to find out upon reaching there that the place is under reno.

To make things worse, I dropped 'Aqiil's shoe. Only one shoe. The one that bean bought him. I am so sad. I love that shoe so much and since it was given by someone, it matters even more.

And my outing ended this morning at 5.30am. We went to send 'Aqiil to A & E as he was having fever. When it reaches 38.4, we decided, it's off to the hospital. No clinic in woodlands is open 24hrs. How sad.

He is still cranky and weak. I really hope he get well soon.

Muhammad 'Aqiil Roziiq turns 2 months old today.. Alhamdullilah... Please excuse the wordings on his shirt. It an ego booster for me.. Well I am cute too what.. Chubby and all.. kekkeke

At two months old.. He can actually interact... Really..

I am not sure if he knows what he is doing or is it just purely conincidence since babies only have a social smile when they are 3 months. He started smiling when he is slightly over 1 month. And he would pose when say 1,2,3 smile.. I did that when I took that photo above. Even my aunties saw that..



This is now him, just now.. engaging in baby talk with Ayie. So perhaps, Mr Erikson should change his theories as babies in the millenium are way smarter compared to us I guess..

I love burping him.. He burps so loud.. It reminds me of Ain.. A pretty face but when she burps.. Goodness, an ugly sight and sound.. Wakakka.. Opps sorry... Please don't cancel any future shopping spree that I need you to do for me for blurting your secret.. kekekkeke

Anyway, I am sad... the bag that I wanted is sold out in Singapore and US. I am not sure if I should settle for an alternative. I scout the whole of Ochard today and it's not there. I went online thinking I could get it in US and it is now no longer there..

So I shall go mourn my loss in my sleep.. Shall blog more when I wake up (provided, I am in the mood.)
